Here’s a very />interesting article from from Harvard Business Review on the effect of love in corporate culture. I’ve certainly experienced this, and hope you have too.
The author really nails some excellent points, some intuitive and obvious, but some not so much. Good things for all leaders to keep in mind and integrate into their daily activities of talent management and succession planning.
If this is not on your priority list as a leader, it should be. As the economy continues to improve, all organizations become more vulnerable to losing top talent. Don’t let yours be wooed away because you have not made clear to them their value to your organization, and, to you, personally, as a leader in the organization and that there is a path for growth for them where they are now.
